How free is our society?

How free is our society?

"You are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born inside a prison that you cannot smell, taste, or touch. A prison for your mind. Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for your self. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. Remember -- all I am offering is the truth, nothing more.

Quote From: The Matrix

Are you a slave?

We all know movies aren't real. And especially a Science Fiction movie like The Matrix is easily recognised to contain lots of fiction, and little science. However, that does not mean that every detail of the movie should thus be considered purely fictional. The Quote by this character called Morpheus may contain a lot more truth about the freedom in our world, than most people believe, or would like to believe. No one can be told what the truth about freedom in our society is. You cannot be told you that you're actually a slave, especially since you appear to enjoy so many freedoms. You will have to research it for yourself.

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - J.W. Goethe, 1749 - 1832Are you a slave?

Freedom Research

Just like Morpheus, all we can do on this website, is show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. With many videos and articles commenting and elaborating on the freedom related works of many different researchers, we'd like to guide you through the jungle of information and disinformation. Our goal is to show you the framework of interconnected issues, and promote realistic and viable solutions. But in order for these solutions to become effective, more people will have to escape the prison of their minds, and start seeing the amazing alternatives that are known to enhance our freedom, and improve the quality of our lives dramatically.

We live in a free country

In school we are taught we live in a free country, and we all would certainly like to believe that. Obviously, we have many freedoms to charish and protect. So let's celebrate our freedom every day, and enjoy it to the max! Why don't we celebrate our freedom every day, and enjoy it to the max? What keeps us from doing so? Probably your first answer would be: because we are busy every day and after that, we're too tired, or: because we don't have enough money to celebrate every day. How many people would actually be able to celebrate their freedom every day? How many people do what they find most important, or do what satisfies them most (workoholics excluded)?

Are you a slave?

Is this really freedom?

It seems few people can honestly answer these questions with a full 'yes'. Most people just seem too busy, or too much occupied with making ends meet. They lack time or money to get true fulfilment from life, and often seem so troubled with their own lives, that they can hardly be bothered with the troubles of others. But aren't all people facing these same issues of survival and making ends meet? Is this really the way we desire to live? Do we really want the great majority of people living in extreme poverty? Do we really enjoy consuming cheap ass products, ruining our health while littering the face of this earth, and depleting its resources? Do we really like living in fear of wars, crime and terrorism? Is there really no better way for humanity to exist on this earth? Is this really the best we can do with our current level of technology? Is this really what free people would choose? Is this really freedom?

Freedom issues worldwide

Obviously, we would not have initiated this website if we had not found plenty of reasons to doubt the story that any one of us would actually live in a truly free country. Of course, countries differ in their levels of freedom with respect to many different issues. And even in the harshest totalitarian systems, people are taught they live in a free country. To understand the freedoms that you have or do not have in your country, you will have to research many different freedom related issues in your country for yourself. However, the information that we would like to share with you on this website, does not stick to country borders. We found that all countries worldwide are subject to the same international forces that limit and threaten our freedoms, using the same sets of strategies, and having the same goals and motivation. It is for this reason we feel every person in this world could benefit from learning to understand how all these freedom related issues are interconnected through similar motivations and strategies, and see the amazing alternatives that true freedom could offer.

Act now!

Urgency

In our current societies we appear to have so many freedoms, that most people could not be bothered spending their precious free time to research freedom. As long as you have the money to spend, and the time, you can enjoy a great variety of freedoms. And we should all try to enjoy them, appreciate them and protect the many freedoms that we obviously have. There seems to be little urgency in taking up freedom research at this particular moment, or is there?

Total freedom or total slavery?

After researching many freedom related issues for many years, we have come to the conclusion that there is great urgency to defend and promote our freedoms. We have come to undertand that the 21st century will prove to be a turning point in the history of mankind. All conditions seem to be put in place to limit our freedoms more severely than ever before, at an ever faster pace. We can all stand by and watch humanity be graduately degraded to total slavery, or we can stand up to protect and promote our freedoms. There seems to be no road in between.

"There's a plot in this country to enslave every man, woman and child. Before I leave this high and noble office, I intend to expose this plot." - John F. Kennedy, 7 days before his assassination

Empower yourself

Feel powerless?

Of course we all feel completely powerless to turn the negative trend in the current development of our freedoms. We should start to recognise we are meant to feel powerless and incompetent defending our freedoms. Great efforts are directed at making us all feel completely powerless and incompetent standing up to the forces that limit and threaten our freedoms. Would all those efforts be necessary if we stood no chance defending our freedoms? We believe not. We believe humanity has a great chance to turn the tide, and finally claim the many many freedoms that have been denied to us since the start of our so-called civilization. We believe that humanity never had a greater chance to finally establish true freedom in our society. And we believe it might actually be our final chance to ever accomplish this. Will future generations be living on this planet in total freedom, or total slavery?

Empower yourself!

By studying freedom, we hope you will come to realise that standing op for liberty does not mean initiating some kind of revolt. True freedom has never been achieved by revolution, war, or any other type of violent action. On the contrary, true freedom can only be achieved by gaining a better understanding of all freedom related issues, and educating others about freedom. The more people become aware of the horror scenario our 21st century society appears to be taking us, and of the amazing solutions true freedom could offer, the more people will join our peaceful effort to defend and promote our freedoms, by promoting a better understanding of freedom.
